How do I receive my pattern after purchase? Patterns are delivered as PDF downloads. After checkout, you'll receive an email from Shopify with a download link. You can also access your downloads any time by logging into your account at katebrownquilts.com. Save the file to your device rather than relying on the link — download links may expire after a set number of uses.

I'm having trouble accessing my download. What do I do? Email hello@katebrownquilts.com and I'll get it sorted out.

Can I print my pattern at a copy shop? Yes. Patterns are formatted for standard 8.5" × 11" printing and print well at home or at any copy shop or office supply store.

Do fabric requirements include extra fabric? This varies by pattern. Each pattern notes how much ease is built into the requirements. If you have a question about a specific pattern, feel free to email before you buy.

Do you sell printed patterns? Not at this time. All patterns are digital PDFs.

Copyright & Use

Can I sell quilts made from your patterns? Yes — finished quilts made from Kate Brown Quilts patterns may be sold. Please give design credit when sharing your work. Patterns themselves may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared in any form.

Can I make a copy of a pattern I purchased? You're welcome to print personal-use copies. Please don't share digital files or post screenshots in online groups — even with good intentions, this affects a small independent designer's livelihood significantly.

Orders & Returns

Can I return a digital pattern? All digital pattern sales are final. If something is unclear or you're having trouble with a pattern, email hello@katebrownquilts.com — I'm happy to help.

What is your return policy for physical products? Packaged physical products (printed patterns, precut fabric bundles, kits, and finished items) may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unopened and in original condition. Cut-to-order yardage is final sale and cannot be returned. Contact hello@katebrownquilts.com before sending anything back.

When will my physical order ship? Physical orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days. Shipping speed and carrier options are available at checkout.
