Each quilt is individually designed to balance color, typography, and scale so the finished piece feels cohesive and intentional. Logos are centered and emphasized. Borders are added as needed to create a modern, quality finish. This is not a template grid — it’s a custom composition.

Each piece is handled individually and with care. Nothing is discarded without permission. Any unused full shirts are carefully returned with your finished quilt.

Commissions are accepted in limited quantities to maintain consistent turnaround times and thoughtful design.

Choose Your Size

Small Throw (Approx. 50” x 60”) — $425
A compact keepsake ideal for a chair or reading space. Typically accommodates 15–20 shirts depending on layout and graphic scale.

Standard Throw (Approx. 60” x 70”) — $575
Our most requested size. Generous enough for everyday use while maintaining clean proportion. Typically accommodates 20–30 shirts.

Oversized Throw / Twin (Approx. 72” x 84”) — $775
A statement-scale quilt suited for full bed coverage or large presentation. Typically accommodates 25–35 shirts.

Each quilt is custom designed rather than formulaically arranged.

This listing secures your commission with a $200 non-refundable design deposit. The remaining balance will be invoiced after you receive photos of the completed quilt.

Construction & Materials

Every shirt panel is individually reinforced with a lightweight, professional-grade stabilizer to prevent stretching and preserve the integrity of the quilt over time.

All quilts are finished with evenly spaced, modern wavy quilting lines placed approximately every 2–3 inches. This structured stitching reinforces the surface while maintaining a clean, contemporary look.

Each quilt includes:

• Premium cotton batting for breathable, all-season comfort and beautiful drape
• Lightweight brushed cotton flannel backing in a curated neutral tone to keep the focus on your shirts
• Reinforced seams and professionally finished binding

The standard flannel backing is soft, durable, and visually calm so the front design remains the focal point.

Optional plush minky backing is available for an additional $100. This reflects both the higher material cost and the additional time required to quilt minky properly. Minky offers a softer, warmer, more textured finish for those who prefer a plush backing.

All quilts may be machine washed and tumble dried on low.

The Commission Process

Reserve your commission with a non-refundable design deposit.

After your deposit is received, I’ll reach out with instructions on how to prepare and label your shirts, along with mailing details or (if local) a drop-off address.

Mail or drop off your shirts.

Your quilt is designed, constructed, quilted, and finished in-studio.

You’ll receive photos of the completed quilt.

Final payment is invoiced. Once payment is received, your quilt is shipped (or prepared for local pickup).

Return shipping is included in the listed price and fully insured.

Average turnaround time is approximately 3–4 weeks from receipt of clothing. If a shorter or extended timeline is available, those details will be provided after your deposit is received.

How Many Shirts Do I Need?

Great question — and one of the most common!

Below are general guidelines based on typical adult t-shirts with standard-sized front graphics:

Small Throw (50” x 60”)
Approximately 15–20 shirts

Standard Throw (60” x 70”)
Approximately 20–30 shirts

Oversized / Twin (72” x 84”)
Approximately 25–35 shirts

The exact number depends on the size of the graphics and how much usable design space each shirt provides.

A Few Helpful Notes:

• Both sides of a shirt count as two shirts if you’d like both designs included.
• Four small logos (such as sleeve graphics) equal one full shirt for sizing purposes.
• Larger graphics may require more space and count as one full shirt on their own.

If you’re slightly short of the suggested range, I can often design creatively to stretch up to the next size. However, it’s more difficult to compress a large number of shirts into a smaller quilt without sacrificing design balance.

If you have more shirts than your chosen size typically accommodates, consider dividing them into two groups: a “must-have” set and a “nice-to-have” set. I’ll ensure every shirt in the first group is included and incorporate as many from the second group as possible.

Any unused full shirts will be carefully returned with your finished quilt.
